The Savage 110 Ultralite Camo is built around the proven 110 action, but features a wealth of upgrades that make it the ultimate hunting rifle for extreme elevations and rugged conditions. Savage teamed up with PROOF Research® to create a carbon fiber-wrapped stainless barrel that leaves “heavy metal” barrels in the dust. This exceptional new barrel is made by turning down a standard stainless steel barrel until there’s very little metal left, wrapping the remainder in carbon fiber, and bonding the two materials together with an advanced adhesive.

The result is a drastically lighter, stiffer, and stronger barrel than ever before. Carbon fiber barrels are, on average, 33% to 50% lighter than standard barrels, and in terms of stiffness, not even the highest grade of 416R stainless comes close.

But that’s not the only major upgrade. The 110 Ultralite also comes with a melonite skeletonized receiver and spiral-fluted bolt to reduce weight—making it the ultimate Rifle for mountain hunts. The Rifle comes equipped with Savage’s AccuFit technology with adjustable length-of-pull and comb height to provide hunters with optimum fit and performance. This new extension features a KUIU Verde 2.0 camo for the ultimate concealment. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger^TM allows crisp, clean shots to close out successful hunts.
