LSI Howa Oryx by MDT 6.5mm Creedmoor Bolt Action Rifle

Created for the most demanding PRS (Precision Rifle Series) shooters, the Oryx combines the legendary 1500 action with a full monolithic aluminum chassis—and wraps it all up in a surprisingly affordable package. Crafted from superior hammer-forged, pre-hardened steel, the Howa 1500 action is the perfect platform for a precision rifle build. Each component—from the firing pin to the barrel—is perfectly designed, quality machined, and fitted to exacting tolerances.

The MDT 6061-T6 aluminum chassis provides simple length of pull and comb height adjustments to let you dial in your perfect fit. The chassis comes fitted with an MDT overmolded rubberized AR-style pistol grip that accommodates different shooting positions. The flat-bottom forend features an aluminum insert with M-LOK slots for a bipod.

The Oryx also features the proven H.A.C.T. (Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger) 2-stage trigger that provides a very light, very crisp pull and consistent let-off. The 24″ heavy-profile barrel features a 45° target crown to protect the rifling, and features 5/8×24 threading to accept a muzzle device of your choice.

All these features add up to a chassis rifle capable of delivering sub-MOA accuracy right out of the box—for a lot less than you would expect.
